"A paradox spun from Japanese roots."

A century ago, Japanese immigrants in Hawaii ripped apart their old kimonos to stitch together the very first Hawaiian shirts—a punk-spirited workwear born from the longing for a faraway home.

100 years later, we are hijacking that very same canvas

Instead of tropical palms, we painted the cold, nostalgic skyline of Shinjuku, Tokyo. The towering concrete of the Metropolitan Government Building, the historic brick of Mitsukoshi Isetan, and the tangled veins of the highway junctions.
A summer breeze woven with raw, urban solitude.
